Tammy Walhof, Director

Tammy Walhof has served as director of Lutheran Advocacy-Minnesota since 2014. Prior to her role at LA-MN, Tammy served as Regional Organizer (Upper Midwest and Plains) and Senior Organizer at Bread for the World for 19 years. Her passion for justice has led her to volunteer with low-income families in the U.S., work for 6 years in development in Latin America, travel to various African countries, and work in advocacy for more than 20 years. Rachel Wyffels, Hunger Advocacy Fellow

Rachel Wyffels is a recent graduate of St. Olaf College, where she majored in music and religion, played violin in the St. Olaf Orchestra, and served as president of the St. Olaf Student Congregation Council. She is excited for a year of building relationships to advocate for affordable housing, climate justice, and poverty reduction. Rachel hopes to attend seminary after her fellowship year.
